Australian artists singing in French for the album -Single launch at DEEZER H.Q. Paris this week

There is no denying that Australians are enthralled with everything French and as a cultural project and challenge, a group of Australian musicians have decided to take on classic and contemporary French songs and present their own interpretations for the forthcoming album Mélodie Française. The compilation will be released later this year on Original Matters through Inertia and will be exclusively streamed through Deezer.com.

Leading the way is a duet between the incredible ARIA nominated Gossling and Triple J album nominee Oh Mercy, with their take on La Minute de Silence, a song about taking a moment of silence to contemplate lost love.

La Minute de Silence was premiered this week on National Broadcaster Triple J on Richard Kingsmill’s programme 2013 and is streaming on Deezer exclusively from March 10th. Additionally, Gossling and Alexander Gow (Oh Mercy) head to Paris on Tuesday, 12th March to film the video clip and launch the single in France at the Deezer H.Q. in Paris.
